Welcome
It is my absolute privilege to represent the people of Ipswich
and through this website I aim to provide my constituents with
both information on what’s going on and a means to provide
feedback to me directly.
Ipswich people are down-to-earth, warm and open. Unlike
many places which are little more than sprawling surburbs around
shopping centres, Ipswich retains a strong sense of community. Ipswich
people have a real connection to the city’s history and
a buy-in to its future.
Politics, in my view, has become too much like a second rate
celebrity contest; Show Business for Ugly People as
the bumper sticker goes. Ipswich has had some outstanding
representation over the years and I see my role as seeking to
live up to that tradition by compassionately dealing with the
concerns people have today while contributing to a vision for
the city’s future.
I hope this website is of value to you. It provides an
overview of the Ipswich electorate, news and information about
who I am and what I’m working on as your representative. My
